Serves: 1 – 2 (approximately 500ml)
- 1/2 a frozen banana
- 1/4 cup of pineapple (or any fruit of your choice)
- 1/2 cup of ice
- 1 handful of baby spinach or kale
- 3 tablespoons of hemp
- 1 tablespoon of almond butter
- 1 cup of unsweetened non-dairy milk of your choice
- 1 scoop of vanilla vegan protein powder, optional
- To a high-speed blender, add all ingredients in the order listed and blend well until smooth.
Tip: If you prefer it sweeter, add a pitted date. This will not only add sweetness, but also fibre.
