GREEN PROTEIN SMOOTHIE

Serves: 1 – 2 (approximately 500ml)

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 a frozen banana
  • 1/4 cup of pineapple (or any fruit of your choice)
  • 1/2 cup of ice
  • 1 handful of baby spinach or kale
  • 3 tablespoons of hemp
  • 1 tablespoon of almond butter
  • 1 cup of unsweetened non-dairy milk of your choice
  • 1 scoop of vanilla vegan protein powder, optional

Directions:

  1. To a high-speed blender, add all ingredients in the order listed and blend well until smooth.

Tip: If you prefer it sweeter, add a pitted date. This will not only add sweetness, but also fibre.
