Ingredients:
- 2 cups of tightly packed Medjool dates, pitted
- 1/2 cup of water
Directions:
- In a food processor, add all ingredients and blend until smooth, scraping the side with a spatula to incorporate.
- Use as a 1:1 substitute to sugar in baking; however, keep in mind that it will be slightly less sweet, and it may be moist and have a cake texture rather than chewy texture.
- Store in an airtight container for up to two weeks.
