AQUAFABA WHIPPED CREAM

Makes: 2 cups

Ingredients:

  • 15oz can of chickpeas, including the water (aquafaba)
  • 1/4 teaspoon of cream of tartar or lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons of maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Directions:

  1. In a bowl, add all ingredients and whip using a hand mixer.
  2. Whip until stiff peaks form.
  3. Serve as a topping to any dessert or fruit.
